A surgeon shaped by three continents
Dr. Sanjay Yadagiri's surgical philosophy was shaped by three formative experiences - his early MBBS at KMC Manipal, clinical training in the United Kingdom's NHS, and specialist certification in laparoscopic and colorectal surgery at Louis Pasteur, France.
After completing his Master of Surgery in 2000, he joined Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad. The next decade was spent at the Indo-American Cancer Institute, where he developed deep expertise in surgical oncology - operating on complex GI, colorectal, breast and pancreatic cancers in high-volume settings.
For the past 15 years, Dr. Yadagiri has been a senior consultant at Omega Hospitals, where his practice combines minimal access surgery with oncology and complex pelvic work, often in collaboration with leading gynaec-oncologists.
Beyond clinical work, he is an active member of national and international surgical societies, regularly presents at conferences and mentors the next generation of minimal access surgeons.
